Jackson County Suicide Prevention Coalition
We financially support Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, ASIST, in Southern Oregon. This is a two day course in "suicide first aid" and is useful to health care workers, teachers and caring individuals who would like interactive training in helping suicidal individuals. The number of ASIST trainers contiues to grow in Southern Oregon.
At this time, we are committed to four ASIST trainings per year in Southern Oregon. We are able to offer these trainings due to the generous investment in time by individuals who believe in the effectiveness of the ASIST training program.
